Nancy has twelve years of experience working as a recruiter and in legal support services. She also has ten years of experience as a high school English teacher, which equipped her with the tools necessary to educate candidates about their career possibilities and opportunities, coach candidates, and provide advice on their resumes. Prior to recruiting Nancy spent several years in legal support at a Silicon Valley- based high tech law firm in Austin, Texas and an Am Law 200 firm in Houston. Upon graduating from college, Nancy began recruiting for a leading professional staffing agency. She has successfully placed candidates in all walks of legal staffing and, as the newest member of the Momentum team, is looking forward to helping law firms and companies in both Houston and San Antonio find top legal talent. She is active in the Houston Metropolitan Paralegal Association and the San Antonio Association of Legal Administrators.

Tammy is an invaluable member of the Momentum team, joining us in 2012 as the Operations Manager. She is responsible for handling the various financial, business, and technological needs of Momentum’s companies. Prior to joining Momentum, Tammy served for over five years as the Office Administrator for another Texas-based recruiting firm, and spent ten years in law firm administration.
Tammy’s experience in law firm administration began as a two-day temporary receptionist assignment that she obtained through a local staffing agency. That temporary job became a permanent position that would last nearly a decade, paving the path that evolved into her current career. Because of this experience, Tammy personally understands and appreciates the value that recruiters bring to the table, connecting candidates with companies, and companies with candidates, that might not otherwise meet.
Tammy lives in The Woodlands, Texas with her husband and three sons. When she is not working, she is either attending to the needs of her family or working on furthering her own education. In addition to working full-time (and more) for Momentum, Tammy is an accounting major at Sam Houston State University where she attends part-time.
