Amydell Beardshall, Momentum’s legal staffing recruiter in Houston, attended HALP’s Awards and Recognition Night on March 8th.
Houston Law Firm Administrators and the Attorneys they work with spent a fun evening enjoying dinner, a raffle, and announcing HALP’s annual awards. But the highlight of the evening was a trivia game – on Legal Ethics – between the Administrators and the Attorneys. (We won’t announce who won, in order to protect the egos of the losing side.) Momentum was proud to sponsor a raffle prize and a good time was had by all. Congratulations to Katrina Hussman, who was named Legal Professional of the Year, and H. Miles Cohn, who was awarded Boss of the Year!
Houston Association of Legal Professionals (HALP) is a local chapter of NALS, the National Association for Legal Professionals and of the Texas Association of Legal Professionals. HALP was chartered as a chapter of NALS on January 25, 1956, and is a nonprofit, nonunion, nonpartisan, nonsectarian educational association. It has two primary directives: promoting the certification programs of NALS and providing continuing education opportunities for members and nonmember legal support staff in the Greater Houston area.
